However, the airport authority quickly set up manual check-in counters to prioritize the assistance of passengers and alleviate the situation.

Additionally, long queues of vehicles were spotted at two border gates between Singapore and Malaysia, causing disruptions in traffic. The ICA assured that only automated lanes were affected, and more staff were mobilized to manage the situation and maintain order at the airport.
