 Media reports spread today about YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture who made a surprise visit to KLIA T1 has described the real situation that has been and still is felt by foreign tourists arriving at the gateway of our country.

 The issue of "Not To Land" (NTL) is no longer a foreign matter, perhaps the Immigration Department can share the facts and reasons for foreign tourists being deported.  Many are blocked from entering our country due to communication problems.

 We appreciate the Immigration Department in carrying out its duties for the sake of national security, but not because of a single drop of indigo, spoil the milk.

 In addition, foreign tourists queuing for at least an hour more at the Immigration counter is still common.

 My friends from abroad always ask about the situation when going through the immigration counter, I'm too shy to answer.  What is sad is that the tourists who queued for more than an hour with the elderly and children in the long line, have not started traveling already have a bad perception of the country's image.

 What has YB Minister Dato Sri Tiong raised on the new "tip of the iceberg", not to mention the foreign tourist entry system?  Try standing in line for an hour and experience for yourself.

 YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz, the Menteri Besar of Johor, how many times has he gone to the Johor Bahru CIQ Complex to survey the congestion.  That's what actually happened.

 If the entry system into our country is all good, won't the Minister have to come down suddenly, and YAB Menteri Besar have to monitor regularly?

 Let's Mr. Prime Minister together with MOTAC, KDN and MOT, let's go down to the arrival hall of the country's main entrances, KLIA T1, T2, or CIQ Johor Bahru Complex, let's review the real situation.  Feel the pulse of the people and tourists who visit our country.  Tourism is the heart of the country's economy.

 Let's not talk loudly before knowing the facts of the incident.  To YB UMNO Youth Leader whom I respect, don't make a fuss, understand the issue first, then make a statement.  Take it easy.
