The government is committed to improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery in ensuring the well-being of the people and ease of doing business.
Accordingly, the Malaysian MADANI Action Council (MTMM) has agreed that the Special Task Force on Public Sector Reform (STAR) implement and expand the MADANI Mediator Project immediately, including focusing on solutions to the difficulties and problems faced by the people.
MTMM has focused on two new Bitara MADANI projects, which are efforts to upgrade poor facilities under the Ministry of Health (KKM) and expand the implementation of MADANI Stalls.
Under the facility upgrading project, the Government is taking immediate steps to improve 436 facilities and health clinics under the Ministry of Health with the target that all facilities will enter the implementation stage by the end of 2023.
Meanwhile, to expand the implementation of MADANI stalls, the improvement method used by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be implemented to upgrade 20 food courts under selected local governments.
Improvement actions will change the appearance and facilities to be cleaner and more beautiful for the comfort of the people.
Bitara MADANI projects always support the Malaysia MADANI pillar and use "The Whole of Government" approach where the project leader is made up of senior Civil Service officials in different Ministries/Departments with the Ministries/Departments responsible for the identified projects.
This is to ensure that each Bitara MADANI project implementation is evaluated from a different and more comprehensive perspective.
With a focus on low costs, the implementation of quick solutions and the use of existing resources, all projects under Bitara MADANI are in line with the reform shift in the delivery of public services to be more efficient, integrity and quality in serving the community and able to have a direct impact on the people.
