MACC Chief Commissioner, Azam Baki, revealed that two Chinese nationals who were linked to the commotion at the Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA) arrival hall recently have returned to their country of origin, today.
Speaking to reporters when officiating the MACC Media Strategic Partner Strengthening Program, in Putrajaya, Azam said he was informed about the woman's return to China by KLIA.
He also said that the anti-corruption agency had recorded statements from at least 14 individuals regarding the incident that happened on Thursday, June 29.
"This includes statements from the two women, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing and eight immigration officers," he said.
Azam however said that he did not know whether the two women would return to this country or not
